#4:  Art Model gets his championship after spurning Cleveland

No man has a way of adding insult to injury like the late Art Model. He did it to Paul Brown back in the ’60s by firing him and then winning a title. Yet that pales in comparison to what he ended up doing to the city of Cleveland 30 years later. In the midst of financial issues and desperate to win a Super Bowl, Model decided in the middle the 1995 season that he was moving the team to Baltimore.

Predictably the Browns, who were on course for the playoffs, fell apart the rest of the season. It was heartbreaking to watch. Matters couldn’t possibly get worse. Except they did. By a lot. Just five years later, Model’s Baltimore Ravens stampeded their way to a Super Bowl championship, led by former Browns great Ozzie Newsome. It just doesn’t seem fair.
