8. Los Angeles Chargers

8. player. 13. The Los Angeles Chargers are in a bit of a weird situation at cornerback. Casey Heyward was outstanding for them in 2016 and Jason Verrett has plenty of skills as well. Problem is the team is about to switch schemes under Gus Bradley and behind those two it gets rather questionable in terms of team depth. Besides that the Chargers spent most of the 2017 draft upgrading the offense. So the D should get some love early here. <p>Tarvarus McFadden is everything they need. Bradley loves his corners big as was the case with Richard Sherman in Seattle and Jalen Ramsey in Jacksonville. McFadden stands 6’2″ and brings the requisite athleticism and speed needs to play man coverage on the outside. His eight interceptions last year showcases his instinct and nose for the football. What people are hoping this year is he cleans up a lot of the inconsistencies that plagued him.</p>. CB. Florida State. Tarvarus McFadden
