9. New Orleans Saints

player. 15. He would’ve been one of the best pass rushers in the 2017 class as well. Harold Landry dominated off the edge for Boston College last season, notching 16.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles. Offensive tackles lost sleep the night before having to play him. He’s got that athletic burst and quickness to go along with the flexibility to bend the edge. Chances are he could play either defensive end or outside linebacker in the NFL.
It really doesn’t matter for the New Orleans Saints at this point. They just need more pass rushers. Once again they passed up a prime opportunity in the draft to upgrade this glaring problem and instead spent two of their top three picks on the secondary. Understandable enough but at the same time Cameron Jordan remains the lone wolf on the edge and he’s slowly running out of time.
. DE. Boston College. Harold Landry . 9
