16. Sean McDermott runs a traditional 4-3 defensive scheme. Such things require a different sort of personnel than what the Buffalo Bills currently employ. One key spot is the interior pass rusher at defensive tackle. Similar to what he had in Kawann Short with the Panthers. Kyle Williams can fill this role, as can Marcell Dareus. Problem is Williams turns 34-years old on June 10th and Dareus has proven unreliable both off-the-field and health-wise.

Christian Wilkins gives them that dynamic interior presence who is both young, cheap and reliable. He was a force for Clemson inside during their championships run with 13 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. His size, lower body strength and burst show up a lot on tape. His progression continues upwards at a steady pace. Barring a setback 2017 should be a huge year for him. He’d fit the Bills scheme very well.
. DT. Clemson. Christian Wilkins . 7. player
