Good:  Zach Cunningham to Houston

It’s never a bad thing when a team is able to fill their two biggest needs right away in the draft. Good thing too because the Houston Texans had to trade away their first two 2018 picks to make it happen. Deshaun Watson in the 1st was good but they got outstanding value in the 2nd round by swiping linebacker Zach Cunningham. He was a consistent, instinctive tackler at Vanderbilt who should become the heir apparent to Brian Cushing on the inside.

Bad:  Brendan Langley to Denver

Considering the fact that most viewed Brendan Langley as a 5th round pick at best, it’s hard to classify this pick as anything other than a reach. Now to be fair he’s a tremendous athlete who can get a lot better if coached properly. At the same time his inconsistency can be maddening. Agile receivers are often able to elude him easily, as are running backs due to his lacking aggressiveness. Denver is putting a lot of faith in their coaches with this one.
