2017 NFL Draft: The 10 Best and Worst Picks Through Day 2
By Erik Lambert
Good: O.J. Howard to Tampa Bay
This was outstanding value even in the 1st round. O.J. Howard is one of the cleanest, most talented players at any position in the draft. He’s a tough blocker and a game-breaking receiver at the tight end position. A guy who never has to leave the field. So teams allow him to slip to the Buccaneers where he’ll get a chance to join forces with Mike Evans? Undoubtedly Jameis Winston considered doing back flips when he heard the news.
Bad: Tanoh Kpassagnon to Kansas City
Another of those physical freaks of nature that look like they can dominate the NFL level. Tanoh Kpassagnon really came out of nowhere at Villanova. At 6’7″ the guy looks like he’s chiseled out of granite. Big, long, powerful and athlete he doesn’t lack physical tool. At the same time there are some who have reservations. Not only is still very inexperienced, having not played football for very long, some also question how committed he is to the sport. A big risk to take in the 2nd round.
