57. At some point early in this draft the Bears have to address the tight end position. Going into 2016 this team is painfully thin in that area. Zach Miller is a 31-year old journeyman who played marginally well for them last year. Khari Lee is a former undrafted free agent with limited upside as a receiver and Greg Scruggs is a former defensive lineman converted to the position to help with blocking. Needless to say the star power is limited.
One of the more intriguing names to watch this year is Jordan Leggett. Clemson has become quite the football factory for offensive talent in recent seasons and this young tight end is emerging as a legitimate threat. He’s got good enough speed to threaten down the seam and a 6’5″ frame to present plenty of matchup problems for linebackers and safeties. He’s not quite a go-to target yet but his building experience is pushing him to new heights.
. TE. Clemson. Jordan Leggett . 3. player
