23. Cincinnati Bengals

LSU. Malachi Dupree . 23. player. 56. Drafting Tyler Boyd was something the Cincinnati Bengals had to do. They had lost not only Marvin Jones to free agency in March, but Mohamed Sanu as well. Combined with the injury situation surrounding tight end Tyler Eifert, the weapons were becoming thin outside of A.J. Green for Andy Dalton. That being said it’s hard to think Boyd alone will compensate for those losses. Perhaps veteran Brandon LaFell will be a big help too, but chances are the Bengals may have to get another young target into their pipeline.
Where Boyd is an efficient possession-type receiver with good hands and route running skills, Malachi Dupree would be the taller target who provides a deep threat from the outside. He flashed plenty of that potential last year for LSU despite the teams’ quarterback issues. He wisely returned to school in order to continue honing his technique and route skills, which need polish. When it comes to physical upside though, he may have more than any other receiver expected to come out in 2017.
. WR
