UPDATE @12:50 – Giants head coach Ben McAdoo says Odell Beckham Jr. was cut by Janoris Jenkins cleat.

Original Story

New York Giants fans are holding their breath today as word of a potentially devastating injury occurred at Giants practice Sunday morning.

Superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. fell to the ground after getting his legs tangled up with free agent signee Janoris Jenkins while going after an Eli Manning pass.

Beckham, who was clearly in pain, made a concerted effort to limp off the field and lay down on the sideline. The focus is on his left leg

A cart was brought out to help Beckham back into the trainers room.

He appears to point towards the lower part of his leg, although the exact injury is not yet known publicly.

Beckham is the Giants biggest producer on offense after putting up 2,755 yards and 25 touchdowns in his first two seasons out of LSU.

Though the Giants drafted Oklahoma wide receiver Sterling Shepard, and are expecting Victor Cruz to be fully recovered from his own lower-body injuries, losing Odell Beckham Jr. for any period of time is a major development for the New York Giants.
