Baltimore Ravens: 2016 NFL Draft Grades
It’s hard to evaluate certain players and how their game will translate to the NFL but none is harder than Keenan Reynolds from Navy. As the NCAA’s career rushing touchdown leader, Reynolds has a great record on paper and was undisputedly one of the most underrated players in college football last season.
Despite that, he may have interested Baltimore more for his versatility (there goes that word again) than anything else.

Reynolds has experience playing quarterback in college but ran the read-option at Navy which covertly made him more of a running back than quarterback. Listed as a wide receiver during the draft, Reynolds may be exclusively on special teams as a return man but his value may never go no further than that.
There is a high chance that he may become a deadly return man who could be featured on offense where getting the ball to him in space will be the main objective. At Navy, Reynolds set FBS records for career touchdowns (88) and rushing yards by a quarterback (4,559). If the team can’t figure some way to get the ball in his hands then his development may go slower than most.
