Fantasy Power Rankings: Kickers
Yes, kicker deserve love too. They can make or break a season with one swing of their leg. With Training Camps and preseason games quickly approaching, fantasy football is gaining its usual steam. These rankings can obviously change based on injuries, job competitions or other various, unseen reasons. I’ll explain my running kicker at the bottom. Also, check out my fantasy quarterback, running back and tight end rankings.

Stephen vs Steven
Gostowski and Hauschka are two of the top kickers in the NFL. Both play on high scoring teams that pound the ball and give their kickers the chance to participate in the game. From a fantasy perspective, Gostkowski outscored his fellow kicker by 20 points. That made the difference in my eyes.
Cody Parkey in Top 5
Parkey has the chance to be the best kicker in the NFL within the next couple years. Kickers can be tricky though. Eagles fans once thought Alex Henrey was their future, but he turned a superb rookie season into a subpar career. Parkey led ALL kickers in fantasy points last year with 158. That fast paced Eagles offense gives him more opportunities than anyone else to make a difference. A total steal in every fantasy league this year.
Dan Carpenter in Top 10
Carpenters name may shock owners, but he is a very efficient fantasy kicker. While his field goal percentage was not perfect, it was three percent higher than Dan Bailey and a whole eight percent more than Mason Crosby. The Bills new and improved run game will also give Carpenter more opportunities to hit field goals and extra points. LeSean McCoys’ lack of run efficiency will definitely give Carpenter those chances to nail one.
