With Training Camps and preseason games quickly approaching, fantasy football is gaining its usual steam. These rankings can obviously change based on injuries, job competitions or other various, unseen reasons. I’ll explain my tight end rankings at the bottom. Zach Ertz in the top five

I’m one of Zach Ertzs’ biggest fans entering the 2015 fantasy/NFL season. With the Philadelphia Eagles having two very young starting wide receivers (Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor) Ertz is expected to get a dramatic increase in receptions and redzone targets. Ertz is a steal in ESPN Fantasy leagues and should be grabbed to start for your team.

    The Rookies

Maxx Williams and Clive Walford highlight this seasons rookie class. I placed Williams slightly ahead of the New Orleans Saints’ Josh Hill based on potential target numbers the Ravens tight end may be looking at in 2015. Despite Dennis Pitta still being on the team (placed on PUP list), I expect Williams to get a solid handle on the job throughout the Ravens season and beyond. A nice waiver wire pick-up if your starter gets injured early.

    The Underperformers

Names like Eifert and Ebron highlight this list. Once regarded as some of the top tight end prospects coming out of college, injuries and a lack of production have knocked them down. Ebron currently sits behind Brandon Pettigrew on the Lions depth chart, but there’s nothing stopping him from earning the starting job in camp. Eifert on the other hand will be looking over his shoulder over the duration of Bengals camp. The Bengals third round pick out of Rutgers Tyler Kroft will be looking to make his move. Neither Ebron or Eifert should be picked up in standard fantasy leagues, but definetely keep an eye on them as the season moves on.
