    Breaking Down the Top 5

The NFL is as running back top heavy as ever. From a fantasy perspective, I always harp on getting your starting running backs with your first three picks and these rankings help show why. Nearly anyone in the top ten could lead the league in rushing in 2015. Despite the arm of Aaron Rodgers in front of him, Lacy is the best fantasy pick. Lynch is my go-to guy, but he slides in right behind Bell at three. I have no idea what Adrian Peterson will do after having almost a year off, so he sits perfectly at five.

    C.J. Anderson

I honestly don’t understand the Anderson hype. I put him on my overrated list for a reason. He’s gotten limited snaps in the NFL and has two quality veterans behind him. While he flashed some potential, there is no way I’m ranking as high as ESPN did. Take a back seat.

    The Rookies

Rookies will once again dominate fantasy leagues this season, just like Jeremy Hill did last season. Gurley would be higher if not for his knee, so Gordon is my top rookie. Coleman, Yeldon, and Johnson will all get their chances to shine but for now they sit where they belong. If Jacksonville didn’t have Robinson or Atlanta didn’t have Freeman, their fellow running backs would be higher.
