Johnny Manziel Buys Diamond Grill, Still Doesn’t Get It

Once again, Johnny Manziel has proven that he simply does not get it.

Frankly, I’m tired of him. I don’t know why I’m even writing about him anymore, but his latest antics just prove what a waste of talent this kid is.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Manziel is seen leaving a Hollywood club with a sparkle in his… mouth?

It appears Johnny is now wearing a custom-made, diamond grill. According to the maker Johnny Dang, similar grills can reach in the vicinity of $20,000.

While it is tough to see in the video, still pictures capture the glare of an 18k white gold, diamond encrusted mouth grill.

Manziel signed a four-year contract worth over $8 million when he was drafted 21st overall by the Cleveland Browns. With all of his partying,ridiculous spending, and loss of sponsorships, it’s hard to imagine Manziel has much left in the bank.

Despite the continued calls to re-enter rehab, Johnny Football has continued to refuse the fact that he needs help. His story is well known by every football fan and those who follow our obsessive media culture.

He is also facing domestic violence charges in Dallas after an alleged incident with his girlfriend.

It’s certainly not an untold story. We have seen the likes of Ryan Leaf burnout in the NFL, but at-least Leaf has appeared to have turned his life around.

Manziel insists he will be playing in the NFL this year, but it would take a miracle for that to happen. In fact, I would be shocked and sickened if he ever ends up on an NFL field again. We have seen so many players go undrafted struggle to prove their talents and someone with as much athleticism as Manziel just threw it all away. So many people would kill to have an ounce of his talent or a fraction of his contract. At this point, the kid is a waste of energy that no NFL, CFL, EFL, or AFL team would even consider touching.
