Oregon Ducks wide receiver Evan Stewart isn’t getting the praise of one of the top receiver prospects entering the 2025 NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t amongst the best.

In Oregon’s 35-0 win over Purdue, the Stewart and Dillon Gabriel connection helped the team remain undefeated.  Stewart, who caught 4 receptions for 96 yards, didn’t have as big of a performance as he had a week prior in the team’s thrilling victory over Ohio State, but he showed off how much a factor he can be in the offense.

At 6-foot-0, 175 pounds, Stewart’s strongest attributes are his speed and route running which could be a lethal combination at the next level.

It only took the first drive of the game for Gabriel and Stewart to get going.  Look at this 49-yard connection to set up the first score of the game:

In a play that will be on the highlight wheel for NFL scouts, Stewart shows off his speed, route running and focus to come down with the catch despite a defender draped on him.  As a player who can align at the X, Z or in the slot, Stewart proves in this play that he can and will be a prize for any team that selects him because of his body control, natural hands and his ability to create yards after the catch.

2025 NFL Draft: 3 teams that should have Evan Stewart high on their list

Due to the depth at the wide receiver position, a talent like Stewart could slide to a high Day 2 pick.  This should put a few teams in the mix who will be looking to replace receivers with a player with top outside X potential or add to their receiving corps with a legit No. 2.  Here are 3 early fits for Stewart.

Las Vegas Raiders:  After trading Devante Adams, the Raiders will be in the mix for a wide receiver.  With Brock Bowers at tight end and Jakobi Meyers in the slot, Vegas could be a great destination for Stewart, especially if they stabilize the quarterback position.

Denver Broncos:  With former Oregon QB Bo Nix running the offense, why not add another Ducks target to the offense?  With Troy Franklin also on the team, the Broncos could look like a version of the Oregon offense in the NFL.  Just think Nix, Franklin and Stewart creating Oregon Duck magic at the professional level.

Cleveland Browns: Following the Amari Cooper trade, the Browns will be looking to add to their wide receiver group.  Depending on what they do with Deshaun Watson, there might be greater needs in Cleveland, but if Stewart is there when they select on Day 2, he is exactly the type of receiver the team typically covets.
