Last week, we saw standout performances from players like Buffalo's Shaun Dolac and Kentucky's Jamon Dumas-Johnson at their pro days. This week, another group of prospects took center stage, showcasing their athleticism and skill.

Among them were several intriguing late-round or undrafted free-agent prospects, such as Central Arkansas’s ShunDerrick Powell and Kansas’s Bryce Cabeldue, who posted impressive numbers. Additionally, some higher-profile prospects, including Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, boosted their 2025 NFL Draft stock with strong showings.

Top ten pro day performances

1. ShunDerrick Powell, RB, Central Arkansas

A small-school prospect who delivered an elite pro day performance, Central Arkansas running back ShunDerrick Powell, an FCS All-American, posted eye-popping numbers, including a 4.40-second 40-yard dash and a 40.5-inch vertical jump. His on-field production has been equally impressive, surpassing 1,000 rushing yards in each of the past three seasons. His breakaway speed is undeniable—according to Pro Football Focus, he led all FBS and FCS running backs with a 63.7% breakaway run rate among those with at least 75 carries last season.

2. Bryce Cabeldue, OG, Kansas

The standout performer at the Big 12 Pro Day, Kansas offensive guard Bryce Cabeldue, posted elite explosion and agility scores, according to Math Bomb’s Relative Athletic Score. His impressive numbers included 30 bench press reps and a 4.95-second 40-yard dash, boosting his chances of being a late-round pick.

3. Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe showcased his explosiveness with a blazing 4.37-second 40-yard dash—elite speed for a quarterback. This further reinforces his potential to thrive in the NFL, particularly in a run-heavy offense that maximizes both his legs and arm talent. However, I still have a Day 2 grade on Milroe due to his inconsistency as a passer. At this stage in his development, he remains more of an athlete playing quarterback rather than a true athletic quarterback.

4. Monaray Baldwin, WR, Baylor

Another speedster who stood out was Baylor’s Monaray Baldwin, who clocked a 4.32-second 40-yard dash. His blazing speed should earn him a shot as an undrafted free agent and a potential role as an NFL slot receiver. Last season, he averaged 17.7 yards per catch with five touchdowns on 27 receptions.

5. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan solidified his status as the top pure receiver on my draft board with an impressive pro day performance, running a 4.48-second 40-yard dash. At 6-foot-4 and 219 pounds, his combination of size, speed, and deep-ball tracking ability has been instrumental in his 70 explosive plays, per Pro Football Focus. With his elite skill set, McMillan is a near-lock for a top-15 selection in April’s draft, with an outside shot at going as high as No. 4 to the New England Patriots.

6. Kain Medrano, LB, UCLA

UCLA linebacker Kain Medrano has significantly boosted his draft stock this offseason with an impressive athletic showing. He recorded the fastest 40-yard dash among linebackers at the NFL Combine and followed it up with an outstanding pro day. His 6.96-second L-drill and 4.19-second 5-10-5 shuttle would have topped all linebackers at the Combine. Medrano's elite athleticism makes him a valuable asset as a coverage linebacker and a standout on special teams.

7. Caleb Etienne, OT, BYU

One of the top performances at the Big 12 Pro Day came from BYU offensive tackle Caleb Etienne. The 6-foot-7, 329-pound prospect posted a 4.96-second 40-yard dash, a 30-inch vertical jump, and 27 reps on the bench press. The Kansas City Chiefs have already shown significant interest in him, bringing him in for a visit.

8. Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse

Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord, my number three quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft, reinforced his ranking with a strong pro day performance. He displayed impressive accuracy, missing only a few throws, and looked extremely comfortable in the pocket. One team showing significant interest in him is the New York Jets, who could target him with their fourth-round pick as a smart value move.

9. Joseph Vaughn, LB, UCLA

Although Joseph Vaughn is unlikely to be drafted after recording just eight tackles this season, his pro day performance certainly turned heads. He posted an impressive 41.5-inch vertical jump and ran a 4.5-second 40-yard dash. Vaughn was a standout at Yale before transferring to UCLA, where he tallied 88 tackles for the Bulldogs in 2023.

10. Ethan Robinson, CB, Minnesota

Another player who may have to take the free-agent route is Minnesota cornerback Ethan Robinson. However, like Vaughn, he put up impressive testing numbers, including a 42-inch vertical jump—the best among all cornerbacks at the NFL Combine by two inches. On the field, Robinson showcased his ball skills, recording three interceptions last season and tallying 19 pass deflections over the past two years.
