The Seattle Seahawks entered the 2025 NFL season with some questions marks offensively. After trading away D.K. Metcalf and Geno Smith, the Seahawks decided to ride with Sam Darnold at quarterback and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as their top receiver.
Offensively, the change in offensive leaders paid off as Darnold to Smith-Njigba connection helped lead the offense, while the defense proved to be one of the top overall defenses in the NFL. Under Mike McDonald, the Seahawks were one of the most complete teams in route of a 14-3 record and representing the NFC in Super Bowl LX.
Win or lose, the Seahawks have the foundation of a team that will be a contender in the NFC for years to come, especially if they use the draft to complement that foundation and add depth in key areas. With just four picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, this Pre-Super Bowl look at the Seahawks needs are explored with predictions at key positions.
Seahawks find reinforcements at cornerback, running back and the O-line
Round 1, No. 32 – Keith Abney II, CB, Arizona State

The Seahawks will have some decisions to make in the offseason when it comes to the cornerback position. With Devon Witherspoon holding down the top cornerback role, the Seahawks will have most of the rest of their defensive backs hitting free agency in Riq Woolen, Josh Jobe, and Coby Bryant. They won’t be able to bring them all back so cornerback will be a top need in the 2026 NFL Draft. Keith Abney II is their selection here given his athleticism, versatility and ball skills as a corner, the Seahawks get their CB2 to pair with Witherspoon and a player who could help them get back to the big game.
Round 2, No. 64 – Jadarian Price, HB, Notre Dame

While running back isn’t a top priority, the Seahawks will look to add depth at the position with Kenneth Walker III approaching free agency. With Zach Charbonnet rehabbing from a torn ACL, the Seahawks will look to add the type of back who will take over the lead back role if Walker leaves in free agency and Charbonnet needs more time in his return. Notre Dame’s Jadarian Price is a great fit for Seattle as a home-run threat out of the backfield. With great acceleration once he hits the second level of a defense, Price is a player who is more effective when he is sharing the rock, like he did at Notre Dame in tandem with Jeremiyah Love.
Round 3, No. 96 – Chase Bisontis, G, Texas A&M

With the No. 96 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Seahawks select offensive guard Chase Bisontis. The interior of the offensive line is a need for Seattle and the addition of the 6-foot-5, 315-pound Bisontis will provide an upgrade for the Seahawks’ offensive line. Great in pass protection, physical and with the versatility to also play tackle, Bisontis is a player who should take the starting right guard role away from Anthony Bradford.
Round 6, No. 212 – Connor Tollison, C, Missouri

The Seahawks go back-to-back offensive lineman with the selection of Missouri’s Connor Tollison in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. With Jalen Sundell approaching free agency, Seattle addresses the need for a long-term center with Tollison who enters the draft as a four-year starter in the SEC. That experience along with the athleticism and mobility he provides from the center position will help bolster the Seahawks’ offensive line. In drafting Tollison, the Seahawks will need to add a veteran center in order not to put too much pressure on Tollison in Year 1.
