Raiders: 4 potential trade destinations for WR Davante Adams

Davante Adams might be getting frustrated with the current trajectory of the Las Vegas Raiders. Could this lead to a potential trade before the NFL’s Oct. 31 deadline?

No. 2: New York Giants

The Giants have stumbled out the gate in 2023 after a surprising playoff berth in Year 1 of the Brian Daboll era. The success led to New York extending quarterback Daniel Jones and franchise-tagging Saquon Barkley. Jones’ play has regressed mightily behind a porous offensive line while Barkley is dealing with yet another ankle injury.

Simply put, nothing is going right for the G-Men this season. But perhaps the addition of Davante Adams could get the offense back on track. The Giants do not have a suitable WR1 on the roster — sorry, Wan’Dale Robinson — so even if the campaign continues to go awry, it would make sense for general manager Joe Schoen to pull the trigger.

Would Adams be happy going to a team that will have to scratch and claw to get back into contention? Would he want to catch passes from Daniel Jones? Odds are against it, but it would give the former Packer a high-profile stage to perform on. And the Giants have the assets and coaching to see an immediate turnaround in 2024.
