By Beau Adams
Jahmyr Gibbs, the first-year running back for the Detroit Lions, showcased his versatility and playmaking ability in Week 7. Known for his explosive speed and agility, Gibbs proved to be a dual-threat weapon for the Lions' offense, making significant contributions on the ground and in the passing game.
In the game, Gibbs rushed for 68 yards on 11 carries, finding gaps in the defense and displaying his elusiveness. Additionally, he made an impact in the passing game, recording nine receptions for 58 yards. His ability to create yards after the catch and his reliability as a receiving option makes him a valuable asset for the Lions.
Gibbs, the 9th overall pick in 2023, is making his first win this week. There have been several close losses for Gibbs, but he went above and beyond with nine catches and 126 yards from scrimmage. A genuine dual-threat running back.
