NFC North hype:  Packers ‘coming with a purpose’

What we learned in the NFL playoffs is that the Green Bay Packers are a team to watch in 2024, especially on the offensive side of the football.

In putting up over 40 points in eliminating the Dallas Cowboys and going toe-to-toe with the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers offense looks for real and it’s not just about Jordan Love, although he is the biggest reason for Green Bay’s re-emergence.

Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins always believed in his offense and believed it was just about execution because the talent was there.  Speaking to the media after his team was eliminated in the Divisional round, Jenkins said it was the mindset of that talent that made him a confident believer in the offense’s ability which obviously showed towards the end of the year and into the playoffs.

Again, it started with Love, but the Packers had some playmakers who helped him out like wide receiver Jayden Reed and a tight end duo of Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft.  And of course, running back Aaron Jones was a beast.  Going forward, Jenkins is extra excited about what’s ahead for a young, talented and confident offense.

"We're coming," Jenkins said, via the team’s official website. "We're coming with a purpose. We want to win it all. Feel like we could have done it this year but next year I'm very optimistic.

"We've got the guys in the building. We've got everything that we need to get it done. We've just got to go do it. We set a good foundation this year. We've just got to go win."
