2027 NFL Mock Draft: Steelers find a potential answer at quarterback
No. 17 Philadelphia Eagles (2-1): Jordan Seaton, T, LSU
The Eagles select LSU's Jordan Seaton with the No. 17 overall pick.
With Lane Johnson nearing the end of his career, Philadelphia needs a long-term solution at tackle. The 307-pound Seaton offers the athleticism and long-term stability the Eagles are looking for.
No. 18 Cleveland Browns (3-1): David Stone, DL, Oklahoma
The Browns' defense has moved on without Myles Garrett, and that is mostly due to the Year 2 leap of Mason Graham.
With the No. 18 overall pick, Cleveland adds another interior force to pair with him in Oklahoma star David Stone.
At 6-foot-3, 312 pounds, Stone is an absolute force in the middle who excels at eliminating the opposing team's running attack.
*Order prior to Thursday night's win over Pittsburgh
No. 19 Carolina Panthers (1-2): Yhonzae Pierre, EDGE, Alabama
The Panthers could be tempted by other edge options here, but Alabama's Yhonzae Pierre brings first-round talent to the position as a hybrid outside linebacker fit.
With his explosiveness off the edge, he would be a strong fit opposite Jaelan Phillips.
*NFC South division leader
No. 20 Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1): Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida
The Jaguars made a statement in their 35-6 win over the Patriots.
Now imagine another running back like Jadan Baugh added to the mix to make that offense even more multidimensional.
In this mock draft, the emerging Heisman contender lands in Duval County, where he would form an interesting backfield pairing with Bhayshul Tuten.
No. 21 Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2): Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Mississippi

NFL Mocks has linked Trinidad Chambliss as a possible long-term answer at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
Here, however, Chambliss lands with another AFC North team.
Although he doesn't have ideal size for the position, it would be hard for the Steelers to ignore his dual-threat impact, especially at this point in the first round.
*Draft order prior to Thursday night's loss to Cleveland
No. 22 Chicago Bears (2-1): A'Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon
The Bears need a dominant presence in the middle in 2027 and beyond, and Oregon's A'Mauri Washington gives them exactly that.
As an elite interior pass rusher, Washington can anchor the middle of Chicago's 4-3 defensive scheme while also complementing the team's edge rushers with his ability to command double teams.
No. 23 Seattle Seahawks (2-1): Kade Pieper, IOL, Iowa
The Seahawks' most pressing need right now may be safety, but health could solve that issue by draft time.
With the No. 23 pick, Seattle makes Iowa's Kade Pieper the first interior offensive lineman off the board.
The Seahawks need stability at right guard, and the 6-foot-4, 290-pound Pieper looks like a natural fit.
No. 24 Denver Broncos (2-1): Sammy Brown, LB, Clemson
With Sammy Brown, the Broncos take one of the best available players while addressing a need.
With Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad nearing or already on the other side of 30, Denver needs to get younger and more athletic at linebacker.
Brown has the size, athleticism and versatility to bring high-impact playmaking back to the middle of the Broncos' defense.
