No. 11: Miami Dolphins – Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

Under new head coach Jeff Hafley, the Miami Dolphins get their top cornerback with the selection of Tennessee’s Jermod McCoy.  Although he missed all the 2025 season due to a torn ACL, McCoy is still one of the top cornerbacks in this draft.  He should be 100 percent by the time training camp begins and will prove to be a great building block on the defensive side of the ball for Hafley and the Dolphins’ defense.

  • Second round pick (No. 43): Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Ole Miss

No. 12: Dallas Cowboys – Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

Sonny Styles to the Cowboys is a no-brainer with either of their first-round picks.  The Cowboys need a linebacker who can impact the game and Styles is that guy.  With great length, size and instincts, the Ohio State linebacker is great against the run and is an outstanding blitzer who will help the Cowboys’ defense immediately.  With his coverage skills, he could help transform that defense into a defense that could be elite in 2026 with tweaks at key positions.

  • Second round pick (No. 44): Traded to the New York Jets

No. 13: Los Angeles Rams– Francis Mauigoa, T, Miami (FL)

The Rams beef up their offensive line with the selection of Francis Mauigoa with the first of their two first round selections.  An anchor on the offensive line, Mauigoa will help protect MVP quarterback Matthew Stafford and add some nastiness to the Rams’ offensive line in his ability to pass block and get out in the running game as a run blocker.  He will be Rob Havenstein’s replacement at right tackle with the versatility to be utilized as a guard as well.

  • Second round pick (No. 62): Jake Golday, LB, Cincinnati

No. 14: Baltimore Ravens – Keldric Faulk, ED, Auburn

The Ravens add youth on the defensive line with the selection of Auburn’s Keldric Faulk.  With prototypical defensive end size and an ability to both get after the passer and defend the run, Faulk’s talent can get the Raven’s defense back to a championship level if he is as pro ready as many scouts believe he is.  With top 10 talent and a high motor, Faulk to the Ravens seem unfair.  But, he is the type of player who could get them back to the top spot in the AFC North.

  • Second round pick (No. 45): Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

No. 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Cashius Howell, ED, Texas A&M

A top priority the Buccaneers to address via the draft is at edge rush/outside linebacker.  They will add talent at those positions in the first two rounds of the draft.  With the No. 15 overall pick, they go with Texas A&M edge Cashius Howell who is explosive off the edge and has an array of pass rush moves that should make him a key contributor in the Buccaneers’ defense once he adjusts at the next level.  His 11.5 sacks to lead the SEC in 2025 shows just how prolific he is in his pursuit to the quarterback.

  • Second round pick (No. 46): Anthony Hill Jr, LB, Texas
