2026 NFL Mock Draft 11-15: Texans get lethal, add top running back

No. 11: Los Angeles Rams via Atlanta – Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

The Rams go cornerback with the No. 11 overall pick in the draft.  In selecting Tennessee’s Jermod McCoy, they get a corner with coverage versatility who plays the game with physicality and great ball instincts.  The risk here is that McCoy is coming off an ACL injury, but when healthy is the best corner on the board.  With two first round picks, a high-reward type risk worth taking for the Rams.

No. 12: Arizona Cardinals – Makai Lemon, WR, USC

The Cardinals go with Makai Lemon with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.  The third wide receiver off the board, Lemon’s athleticism and separation ability is off the charts.  With 50 receptions for 776 yards so far in 2025, Lemon will present as the perfect complement to Marvin Harrison Jr. in the Cardinals’ offense in 2026.

No. 13: Houston Texans – Jeremiyah Love, HB, Notre Dame

It is no surprise Jeremiyah Love is the first running back off the board.  It may be somewhat of a shock that he goes to the Houston Texans at No. 13.  Any team could use a playmaker like Love, but when offensive line is the top need, this could be a head-scratching pick for Nick Caserio and company.  The possibility of C.J. Stroud handing off to Love is fascinating and could be rewarding is the Texans find a way to beef up the offensive line.

No. 14: Dallas Cowboys– Peter Woods, DL, Clemson

The Dallas Cowboys traded for Quinnen Williams at the NFL Trade deadline and will create a fearsome front with the addition of Clemson’s Peter Woods who falls to them at No. 14.  Could these recent moves put the Micah Parsons trade in the rearview mirror?  Woods is a talent enough defensive impact player to shift the energy in Dallas and help turn a struggling defense into one of the top defensives in 2026.

No. 15: Minnesota Vikings – Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

The Vikings had their eyes on Jeremiyah Love but quickly turn their attention to the offensive line with the selection of Utah’s Spencer Fano.  Described as an elite offensive tackle, the 6-foot-6, 308-pound Fano adds athleticism and dynamic run blocking to the Vikings’ offensive line.  He’ll also play a big role in protecting J.J. McCarthy for years to come.
