2026 NFL Draft prospect Jeremiyah Love is a game-breaker.  The Notre Dame running back turned a 18-10 tough battle against the Boston College Eagles into a 25-10 victory on just one back breaking play that further cemented him as the top running back in the nation.

With his speed, vision and explosiveness, Love took it to the house on a 94-yard touchdown run that only took 14 seconds.  In a game the running game mostly struggled against Boston College, the Eagles couldn’t contain Love completely as the junior finished the game with 136 yards on 17 carries with 2 touchdowns.

With the 94-yard touchdown run, Love made history becoming the first Notre Dame player to have two 90-yard touchdown runs in his career.  Watch him explode through the defense in this play:

Due to that one big run, Love finished the game with 8.0 yards per carry, but it wasn’t that easy for the Notre Dame running game most of the game.  That is what makes the 94-yard run more impressive.  Boston College stacked the box all game long, but Love was able to find a hole, exploit it and use his breakaway speed to do the rest.

That one play will have NFL scouts marveling, and could it be a play that cements him as a top 10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft?

What makes Jeremiyah Love a top 10 pick

Love didn’t get off to the best start in 2025, but he is showing how much he can impact a game with his ability to score from anywhere on the field.  As a dynamic running back with the skillset to emerge in any NFL offense as a pass catcher as well, Love will be a playmaker teams are looking for as that high impact running back opposing defenses have to gameplan for like a Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Jahmr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson.

Whether he will go in the top 10 will depend on how the draft board flows.  There will be a few teams quarterback hungry selecting in the top 10 of the draft as it stands through Week 9 of the NFL season.  But, just outside the top 10 there are teams like the Dallas Cowbows, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings who should already be watching Love and other top running back talent closely.

If Love can continue the roll he is on and help turn an 0-2 start to the season for Notre Dame into a CFP berth or at least a Bowl Game victory, his stock will soar even more ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, especially if he puts together a few more game-breaking plays.
