2026 NFL Mock Draft 21-25: Talented tackle falls to Patriots

No. 21: Cleveland Browns via Jacksonville – Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
The Browns use their second pick in the first round at the wide receiver position with the selection of Denzel Boston with the No. 21 overall pick. With Quinshon Judkins in the backfield, Dante Moore at QB and Harold Fannin Jr. at TE, the addition of Boston makes the Browns offense an exciting one to watch in 2026 and the Browns overall a team to watch in the AFC North.
No. 22: Los Angeles Rams – Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
Another Clemson player goes off the board with the Rams selection of cornerback Avieon Terrell with the No. 22 overall pick. As a physical corner who is great at tracking the ball as well as providing support against the run, Terrell adds a presence in the Rams defensive backfield with both is speed and versatility as a defensive back.
No. 23: Detroit Lions – Romello Height, ED, Texas Tech
The Lions get another pass rusher in Romello Height who is the other half of the dynamic pass rushing duo in Texas Tech. With David Bailey going in the mid-first round, the Lions jump at the opportunity to create their own pass rush duo in Aidan Hutchinson and Height. At 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, Height has a great first step with a multitude of moves that helps him get away from blockers in his pursuit to the quarterback.
No. 24: Seattle Seahawks – Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
The Seahawks go with corner with the selection of Mansoor Delane with the No. 24 overall pick. Seattle could be suddenly thin at corner after the 2025 NFL season, so cornerback will be a top priority. They get a good one in Delane who has good size, quickness and scheme versatility to help build up the Seahawks secondary in 2026 and beyond.
No. 25: New England Patriots – Kadyn Proctor, T, Alabama
At this position in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Patriots will have a big opportunity to continue building the offensive line. With the play of Will Campbell, the need for a tackle won’t seem a top priority, but in selecting Kadyn Proctor the Patriots could use him at right tackle or even at left tackle if they had to eventually move Campbell inside. In Proctor they get a player who is great in run blocking and has shown he can be valuable in other ways like catching screen passes and being used as a full back. Josh McDaniels will have fun drawing up plays with ways to utilize the big man.
