It’s that time of year again for NFL Mocks' annual All-Underrated Team, which is always a favorite article to write. The 2026 edition is led by a quarterback who would be a strong fit in Los Angeles, a wide receiver who makes sense for the Las Vegas Raiders, and a dynamic playmaker who could elevate the Pittsburgh Steelers passing game.
To qualify for this list, a player must carry a consensus draft grade of a Day 3 pick or undrafted free agent, based on NFL Mock Draft Database.
All-Underrated offense
QB: Sawyer Robertson, Baylor
Ideal NFL team: Los Angeles Rams
Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson is a player I have already written about several times this year, including why he would be a great fit for the Los Angeles Rams. Robertson has everything Sean McVay looks for in a quarterback, including impressive arm strength, an outstanding football IQ for a player who has only started for one year, and good accuracy.
RB: Demond Claiborne, Wake Forest
Ideal NFL team: Chicago Bears
One of the most dynamic players in the 2026 NFL Draft is Wake Forest’s Demond Claiborne, who was named to the All-ACC team as both an all-purpose player and as a running back. His impressive agility allowed him to cause 45 missed tackles last season, making him a true weapon. Claiborne could serve as the Bears’ replacement for D’Andre Swift if Swift struggles again this year.
Wide Receiver: Duce Robinson, Florida State
Ideal NFL team: Cleveland Browns
One of the higher-rated transfers this year is former USC wide receiver Duce Robinson, who moved to Florida State for the 2025 season. While he only caught five passes last year, he is a big target with impressive athletic ability for his size. The Cleveland Browns need to upgrade their wide receiver unit for whoever is playing quarterback for them in 2026.

Wide Receiver: Dane Key, Nebraska
Ideal NFL team: Las Vegas Raiders
Another transfer wide receiver who is being overlooked is Nebraska’s Dane Key, who comes over from Kentucky. Last season, Key led the Wildcats with 47 receptions for 715 yards and an impressive average of 15.2 yards per catch. In terms of NFL traits, he does a good job of catching the ball in traffic and shows solid body control. The Las Vegas Raiders will likely add depth to their wide receiver group in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Slot: Eugene Wilson III, Florida
Ideal NFL team: Pittsburgh Steelers
According to ESPN, the Pittsburgh Steelers have the 30th-rated wide receiver unit entering the season, largely due to shaky play from the slot position, as neither Calvin Austin III nor Roman Wilson have played at a high level. Florida’s Eugene Wilson III is a dynamic receiver who had 480 yards after the catch and 18 forced missed tackles in 2023, before missing most of the 2024 season with a hip injury.
Tight End: Oscar Delp, Georgia
Ideal NFL team: Miami Dolphins
A player who could have a breakout season this year is Georgia’s Oscar Delp, who was the top tight end recruit in the 2022 class but has yet to record more than 24 receptions in a season. With Gunner Stockton set to take over at quarterback, he will need a reliable safety valve in the passing game, and Delp could fill that role. Miami has very little at the tight end position outside of Darren Waller, who is coming off a one-year retirement.

Offensive Tackle: Fa'alili Fa'amoe, Wake Forest
Ideal NFL team: Jacksonville Jaguars
Wake Forest’s Fa'alili Fa'amoe is just starting to learn the offensive tackle position after beginning his career on the defensive line. He is an impressive athlete who can easily get to the second level and shows intriguing upside. Fa'amoe could be a strong developmental prospect for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Offensive Guard: Chase Bisontis, Texas A&M
Ideal NFL team: Cincinnati Bengals
Texas A&M has the top two offensive guards on my 2026 board, with Ar’maj Reed-Adams at the top and Chase Bisontis right behind him. Bisontis had a strong bounce-back season after allowing 31 pressures in 2023 while playing offensive tackle. Last year, he moved to guard and gave up only one sack and 10 pressures. The Cincinnati Bengals have a glaring hole at right guard, and Bisontis could be an ideal fit.
Center: Logan Jones, Iowa
Ideal NFL team: Carolina Panthers
Iowa’s Logan Jones is not only the most underrated center in the 2026 NFL Draft, he is also the top center on my board, despite carrying a consensus seventh-round grade. He has all the traits to become a high-quality NFL starter, including elite strength highlighted by a 705-pound squat, an Iowa school record. Jones is also an outstanding athlete who can easily reach the second level and slides well in pass protection. If the Carolina Panthers are able to snag him on day three of the draft, they will be getting an absolute steal.

Offensive Guard: Cayden Green, Missouri
Ideal NFL team: Baltimore Ravens
While Chase Bisontis made the switch from offensive tackle to guard in college, Missouri’s Cayden Green is a player I project to make that move in the NFL. Green is at his best in short areas, where his impressive strength makes him very difficult to bullrush. He could provide valuable depth for the Baltimore Ravens.
Offensive Tackle: J.C. Davis, Illinois
Ideal NFL team: Las Vegas Raiders
Illinois offensive tackle J.C. Davis enters the season with a consensus draft grade of seventh round, yet he carries a fourth-round grade on my board. One of his biggest strengths is his experience, as he has 35 straight starts at left tackle. Davis is also an impressive athlete with the quick feet to play either tackle spot in the NFL. He is another prospect who could be a great fit in Las Vegas.
