Comeback Player of the Year — Damar Hamlin (Bills)
This section will be short and sweet. How could the Comeback Player of the Year be anyone besides Damar Hamlin? The Bills safety became a household name in January after suffering cardiac arrest in the middle of a game vs. the Bengals. Thankfully, the medical staff reacted quickly and, ultimately, saved his life.
Now, in what feels like a Lifetime Movie, Hamlin has not only been cleared for action but he’s already taken the field in the preseason. He is slated as the team’s backup safety and will serve as an inspiration to many around the globe. If I had a vote, it would be Hamlin’s.
