AFC East battle: Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets on #MNF

The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets are set to square off in East Rutherford, N.J. for Monday Night Football.  This division clash at MetLife Stadium features two intriguing offenses.

The Bills, led by Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs is the class of the AFC East entering the season, but Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will have something to say about that with a duo of running backs in Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall set to run wild.

As both offenses look to put up points, the story of this game will be the defenses.  Even without Von Miller, the Bills should put a rush on Rodgers, but the question will be whether the Bills front seven can contain the running attack of the Jets.

On the flip side, a tough Jets’ defense led by Quinnen Williams, C.J. Mosley and Sauce Gardner has the making of a top 3 defense in the league.  They will be put to the test against Allen and a Bills’ offense that have the capability of being very explosive.

The Bills can lose this game and still be okay, but the Jets really need a victory here for their own confidence as a complete team and to put pressure on Buffalo right out the gate.  In a defensive battle, the Jets escape in this one with a 17-16 win.  The player of this game will be Garnder, who will pick off Allen twice in this Week 1 battle of New York.
