Trade Target No. 1: Buffalo Bills

The Bills already have a history of trading with the Colts, at the running back position — no less. With Nyheim Hines lost for the season and Devin Singletary now on the Texans, the depth chart behind James Cook is taking a hit. The good news? Damien Harris and Latavius Murray provide a steady veteran presence.

But what if Buffalo wants to go all in? Chris Ballard would certainly listen to offers. Given how things currently stand between Jonathan Taylor and the Colts, the asking price may be within reach for the Bills. Cook, Harris, and Murray can handle the load if needed, but Taylor would make the Josh Allen-led offense terrifying.

Regarding a new contract, Joe Schoen would have to be creative. But the financials are possible. Who knows how long this Super Bowl window will be open for the franchise? Slotting an All-Pro running back in the same backfield as Allen might be enough to put them over the top.
