25. New York Giants: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

The Giants land their WR1 in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, getting a player with impressive size and speed in Quentin Johnston. His throttle control after the catch is impressive, and he’s always a threat to score with the ball in his hands. While his tree isn’t the most developed, Johnson can gear down quickly at the top of his stem to create space on a vertical plane. As he improves against press, Brian Daboll can give Johnston favorable looks in the offense.

26. Dallas Cowboys: Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee

It’s impossible to traverse a 2023 NFL Mock Draft without giving the Cowboys a receiver. Jerry Jones loves flashy, and Jalin Hyatt is that. With great SEC production in 2022, Hyatt’s jumped up boards, and he will again when he runs (at least) in the low 4.3s. His skill set is a great complement to CeeDee Lamb.

27. Buffalo Bills: Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson

The Buffalo Bills stop the fall of Bryan Bresee here, and even as he’s been plagued with injuries in college, the upside is undeniable. Bresee’s power, length, and quicks gives the Bills an interior disruptor to help generate consistent pressure on defense.

28. Cincinnati Bengals: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame

The Cincinnati Bengals going tight end isn’t exactly original; they need it. Michael Mayer would be a strong dual-threat for them, as his quicks and body control give him the ability to be a chain mover. His blocking skills inline give the Bengals the ability to run the ball in 11 personnel.

29. New Orleans Saints: Siaki Ika, DL, Baylor

Another shocker at the end of round one. It’ll be interesting to see if the Saints like Payton Turner on the edge full time. If so, then a defensive tackle with the skills of Siaki Ika makes sense here. Ika’s a powerful space eater that is rarely moved off the ball by a double team. He has impressive change of direction skills for a nose tackle as well, and flashes pass rushing chops.

30. Philadelphia Eagles: Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland

The Philadelphia Eagles could lose James Bradberry, and Deonte Banks would be a nice fill in. A smooth operator in coverage who thrives in press, Banks could be the talk of the combine after he runs in Indy. Get those mocks ready.

31. Kansas City Chiefs: Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma

The Super Bowl champion Chiefs finish off the first round of this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, and if they lose both Orlando Brown and Andrew Wylie, they could be in a pickle. Anton Harrison could get them out of that pickle at the end of round one. Harrison’s power to uproot defensive ends in the run game is apparent, and his athleticism offers a high ceiling in pass pro.
