Tennessee Titans 7-Round 2022 Mock Draft: A Final Offensive Line Fix?
The Tennessee Titans need to get the offensive line right. In this 7-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft, it finally happens.
It feels like the Tennessee Titans have reached a crossroads. After signing Ryan Tannehill three years ago, the Titans have enjoyed regular season success, and found themselves in the AFC Championship game in the 2019-2020 season. They came up shy, but the excitement and expectations were rising. Somehow, the Titans secured the number one seed in the AFC in 2021 without Derrick Henry for much of the second half of the season. With him returning for the playoffs, they were set for a deep run.
The Bengals spoiled their playoff home game, winning 19-16 in the final moments. Tannehill had an ugly game, throwing three interceptions, and Henry really couldn’t get it going off of injury. The loss led to some speculation about Tannehill’s future, and if he was enough for the Titans to compete in a tough conference.
The offseason moves have felt like Tannehill is still the guy, and they’re ready to compete and win now. Harold Landry is back on a big deal, and the team traded for Robert Woods, who can hopefully return to form off of an ACL injury, and provide a late-season impact in 2022.
Tennessee Titans Mock Draft: Fix the Offensive Line, Add Playmakers
The Titans are still in decent shape with the stars they have in house (Henry, A.J. Brown, Jeffery Simmons, Kevin Byard). They just need to fix something that has eluded them recently. That is the primary focus as we look to the 2022 NFL Draft, and this Titans mock draft will place a focus on that position.
