Round 6, 182nd Overall: Tyreke Smith, EDGE, Ohio State

They passed earlier in this scenario, but getting more help on the edge to create a rotation wouldn’t be the worst thing for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tyreke Smith is often known as the other Ohio State rusher, but he has a good skill set in his own right. He has strong hand usage, plays with good leverage, and can get after the quarterback.

Round 6, 185th Overall: Cade Mays, OL, Tennessee

Here, the Jaguars find their other guard who can potentially start right away opposite Smith. Cade Mays hasn’t gotten a ton of buzz, but he plays with good pop in his hands and power in the run game. Mays is a good finisher as well who brings a great mentality to the offensive line.

Round 6, 191st Overall: Devin Thompkins, WR, Utah State

The wide receiver room isn’t finished in this Jaguars mock draft, and finding a playmaker in the slot to push Shenault is the move here. Devin Thompkins is an explosive big play threat with impressive speed and plays tough at the catch point.

Round 6, 196th Overall: Kerby Joseph, S, Illinois

By the end of the 2022 process, this could be out of the question, but Kerby Joseph would be an excellent addition on day three. He shined at Illinois in 2021, earning first team All-Big Ten honors. He’s a playmaker with a penchant for finding the football and creating turnovers.
