38. Chicago Bears: David Bell, WR, Purdue

This offseason the Chicago Bears need to focus on doing everything possible to put Justin Fields in the best situation to succeed. After a down year statistically, it is almost certain that Allen Robinson and the Chicago Bears will part ways. Chicago will need to draft Fields another receiver to line up opposite Darnell Mooney. Purdue’s David Bell has a similar size and playing style to Allen Robinson. He could even pass Mooney as the WR1 in this offense. A receiving core made up of David Bell, Darnell Mooney, and Cole Kmet would be a talented group that could help with the development of Fields over the next couple of years.

39. New York Giants: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC

Last year the New York Giants landed a star in the second round in pass rusher Azeez Ojulari.  New York should consider adding a pass rusher opposite Ojulari early in this year’s draft. USC pass rusher Drake Jackson has been given a first-round grade by multiple scouts. However, he could fall to the second round due to the depth at the position. He could step right in and be a difference-maker for this Giants defense that has the pieces to be one of the better units in the league at their best.

40. Miami Dolphins: Christian Harris, LB, Alabama

Miami’s defense has been one of the worst in the league against the run this season. Part of the reason why their run defense has been so bad is that during the preseason they cut former Pro Bowler Bernardrick McKinney who was acquired to fill their need at linebacker. Christian Harris is considered one of the best linebackers in college football. Miami has drafted three players from Alabama since Brian Flores has taken over as the team’s head coach. The Dolphins could go back to Alabama to grab Christian Harris to join their talented young defense.

41. New York Jets (via Carolina Panthers): Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M

It has been a while since the New York Jets had one of the league’s better tight ends on their roster. For the last couple of seasons, they have been below average at the position. This year the Jets have started veteran Tyler Kroft and Ryan Griffin at the position. New York can draft the most talented tight end in the draft Jalen Wydermyer in the second round to become another weapon to catch passes from Zach Wilson and aid in his development next year and hoping forward.

42. Philadelphia Eagles: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan State

The Philadelphia Eagles have been great at running the ball this season. They are currently leading the lead in rushing yards per game. Philadelphia has done this without great production from their running backs. Their lead back Miles Sanders has struggled to stay healthy over his career and has failed to take total control of this backfield. Next season he will be entering the last year of his rookie deal. Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III has been the best running back in college football this season. Walker could be the running back Philadelphia hoped Sanders could be. He can be the reliable workhorse back that plays a major role in this offense’s success.
