33. Detroit Lions: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

The Detroit Lions didn’t have the strongest linebacker group coming into the year. Now that they cut Jamie Collins and will likely lose Alex Anzalone in free agency they will need to add to the position this offseason. Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd has a case to be considered the best linebacker in the country. The duo of Devin Lloyd and 2021 fourth-round pick Derrick Barnes could be trusted to hold down the middle of the field for Detroit while they continue to rebuild this defense.

34. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

Trevor Lawerence is not having the greatest rookie season. Part of the reason why is because he lacks great receivers. Since D.J. Chark has been hurt special teamer Jamal Agnew and recently acquired tight end Dan Arnold has been Lawrence’s favorite targets. It is extremely likely D.J. Chark leaves Jacksonville in free agency leaving a gaping hole at wide receiver for the Jaguars. Urban Meyer could be connected to Williams because he originally started his college career at Ohio State before transferring to Alabama. Adding Williams to this offense would give the Jaguars the true deep threat they have been lacking for some time.

35. Houston Texans: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington

Houston goes with the best player available approach and drafts a player that could help accelerate the rebuild of their defense. McDuffie should be a first-round pick but may fall out of the top-32 picks because he plays for a struggling defense. The Washington cornerback could be the first piece Houston adds to their cornerback group that they view as a long-term piece of their defense.

36. New York Jets: Brandon Joseph, S, Northwestern

Not too long ago the New York Jets had one of the best safety duos in the league in Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye. This offseason safety may be one of their larger needs to address. Adams was traded to Seattle and Maye is expected to leave New York in free agency. Northwestern safety Brandon Joseph is a playmaking safety who is a ballhawk. He could be a difference-maker for this Jets defense right away.

37. Seattle Seahawks: Myjai Sanders: EDGE: Cincinnati

The Seattle Seahawks need to make some major changes to their roster construction next season because whatever they’re doing isn’t working. Seattle’s defense is a mess and could use some more help despite all of the assets Seattle has poured into it in recent years. The Seahawks have not had a consistent pass rush in a couple of seasons. They should let go of veterans Carlos Dunlap II and Kerry Hyder and bring in a young pass rusher early in the draft. Cincinnati edge rusher Myjai Sanders fits Seattle’s 4-3 defensive scheme and could be trusted to significant snaps for them early in his career.
