What do the Cleveland Browns need?
That is a great question right now.
Baker Mayfield’s future with the team remains at least somewhat up in the air. The fact that he’s playing through an injury these days also muddies the waters a bit there.
Cleveland’s offensive line is outstanding. They could perhaps use some reinforcements at wide receiver and the future of Odell Beckham Jr. is murky at best.
Defensively, there are so many pieces to love at each level on this roster.
How did the Browns manage to get Greg Newsome and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, again?
At any rate, when you don’t have many needs, go after positions of great value.
The Browns have attempted to make some significant additions on a rental basis off the edge opposite Myles Garrett, so a player like Zach Harrison — if he enters the 2022 NFL Draft — could make plenty of sense here.
Harrison has not had the type of start to the 2021 season that people thought he would and I’m sure he’s been disappointed as well. We’ll see what happens as time progresses here, but for the time being, his stock has fallen pretty substantially.
