Micah Parsons has been exactly as advertised coming out of Penn State, and Dan Quinn is wisely utilizing the team’s first-round pick as a pass rusher early and often.
Trevon Diggs has emerged as a legitimate defensive MVP candidate in 2021 with an interception in each of the Cowboys’ first four games of the season.
Dallas’ formula is working.
So let’s make it better.
This team has invested so much on offense, the defensive side probably needs a little bit more work. Myjai Sanders may not get the most headlines but he makes plays week in and week out.
He’s still looking for his first sack of the 2021 season but Cincinnati plays tremendous team defense and Sanders is a key piece of that.
He has outstanding athleticism and plays hard every single snap. His relentless style of play could lead to even more opportunities for this revamped Cowboys secondary to make plays.
