  • Earlier this offseason Oklahoma picked up former Tennessee offensive tackle Wanya Morris as a transfer. Morris is a former five-star recruit who was a 2019 freshman All-SEC pick.
  • The NFL won’t hold a supplemental draft in 2021. This is the second year in a row where the league has canceled the supplemental draft.
  • A player who will likely raise some scouts’ eyes with the number of schools he has been at is Texas Tech offensive tackle T.J. Storment. Storment has spent time at the following schools  Old Dominion, Fullerton College, Colorado State, TCU, and now Texas Tech.
  • The East-West Shrine Bowl will move to Las Vegas and be played at Allegiant Stadium. The game will take place on the Thursday before the Pro Bowl and aired on NFL Network.
  • Last week, we reported on how Isaac Slade-Matautia was leaving the University of Oregon, and this week it was announced he would be attending SMU this season. Slade-Matautia has been one of the more productive linebackers in college football over the last two years finishing with 45 tackles in 2020 and 62 tackles and 11 pass breakups in 2019.
  • Utah center Nick Ford‘s draft grade for the 2021 NFL Draft came back as a third or fourth-round pick. Ford is hoping to improve his stock to a second-round pick with a strong season this year.
  • The following quarterbacks recently took part in the Elite 11 Spencer Rattler, Sam Howell, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Malik Willis.
  • According to Sports Illustrated, Florida linebacker Brenton Cox Jr. should be ready to go for week one of the 2021 season. Cox underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot this June. Last season, he had 42 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and ten tackles for loss
  • Kentucky picked up a legitimate NFL prospect in the transfer portal this week in Dare Rosenthal who comes from LSU. Rosenthal started five games last season for LSU at left tackle but did miss five games due to a suspension. If Rosenthal can stay on the field and out of trouble he could be a day two pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
