A look at some of the tight ends who are seeing their stock fall going into the 2021 season.

Peyton Hendershot, Indiana
Last season was not a good season for Indiana tight end Peyton Hendershot both on and off the field. Last February, Hendershot was suspended from the team after he was arrested on domestic battery charges. He was able to rejoin the team before the 2021 season but saw a drop in production as he dropped 21% of the passes thrown his way and his receiving grade dropped significantly according to Pro Football Focus.

Will Mallory, Miami
The only reason Miami tight end Will Mallory is on this list is that he was forced to miss spring ball due to a shoulder injury. However, look for Mallory to be on the stock-up list several times this year. He will likely see his draft stock improve this year as he will be taking over for Brevin Jordan as the Hurricanes’ number one tight end. This should allow us to see a big jump in Mallory’s production especially when you consider how productive he has been when he has received playing time.

Austin Stogner, Oklahoma
Last year, started off on a good note for Oklahoma tight end Austin Stogner but unfortunately ended on a negative note. In the first seven games of the season, he was one of the top targets for Spencer Rattler and went for over 50 yards in five of those seven games. However, he suffered a knee injury that caused him to miss three of the team’s final four games. This injury later turned into a staph infection which caused him to lose 35 pounds this offseason. Thankfully he is on the rebound now and should be fully ready to go for the 2021 season.
