On the flip side of the earlier Devin Funchess argument, what if Funchess comes out and has a great camp, builds rapport with either Jordan Love or Aaron Rodgers, and earns his way onto the roster?

The Packers’ current depth chart at wide receiver starts obviously with Davante Adams. Allen Lazard has shown enough up to this point to be considered a virtual lock for the final 53-man roster.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is going nowhere after averaging nearly 21 yards per reception last season and scoring six touchdowns on just 33 receptions.

Amari Rodgers has been impressive in the early goings of OTAs, so where does that leave Equanimeous St. Brown, the former Notre Dame star?

If Funchess emerges for the Packers, St. Brown would be a clear trade or cut candidate.

Former Denver Broncos sixth-round pick Juwann Winfree is another candidate to contend for a roster spot if he’s able to stay healthy with strong hands and route-running abilities, so St. Brown is going to have to ball out and prove that he’s worth keeping around as a backup receiver and special teams player.
