3) Trevor Lawrence QB/Jacksonville Jaguars ADP 13.01

I feel like I am being tough on the Jags, but this is their own doing. I had said in a previous article that they should have traded out of the number one pick and built their team more. But alas, they went with T-Law and now the fate of the franchise rests on his right shoulder.

He does have weapons, as I stated in another article Laviska Shenault is going to make noise, but he is simply going ahead of too many established QB’s to feel good about drafting him.  He doesn’t have the mobility of Lamar Jackson, so he is going to have to rely heavily on putting up good passing stats week in and week out against NFL talent.

This take might just be me being harsh, but I didn’t even have Lawrence ranked as the best QB in this draft. I think he does a lot of things well, but nothing elite, so I feel he is going to be thrown into the fire and he might just burn. Take guys like Baker Mayfield, Noah Fant, and Kirk Cousins ahead of him, as he profiles as a QB2 this year.

So that ends this list. Remember, fantasy football isn’t an exact science and it isn’t life and death.  So, have fun, read these articles, and laugh to yourself at my takes if you want, follow them if you please.

Fantasy football is one of the best forms of entertainment because of the literal billions of combinations of teams and players that get drafted.  But, to plant my flag on this mountain, follow my advice and it just might net you a championship!
