The 2021 NFL Draft is just days away and the anticipation for who the Cincinnati Bengals will take with their fifth overall pick continues to build. The team is in a great position to land the top player on their board, with the Jaguars, Jets, and 49ers all locks to take quarterbacks ahead of them. That leaves the Atlanta Falcons at four as the only team that could potentially change Cincinnati’s plans, but even so, it feels like a can’t lose scenario for the Bengals when you consider the talent that will be available.

Oregon offensive tackle, Peneii Sewell, has been the most popular prediction for a long time, and for good reason. The Cincinnati Bengals offensive line was horrendous in 2020, and with Joe Burrow coming off of a torn ACL, they should be doing everything they can to keep him upright in his sophomore season. However, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and tight end Kyle Pitts have also been mocked quite a bit to the Bengals lately, which puts the team in the enviable position of having to potentially decide between all three truly elite prospects.

The one thing we do know is that Cincinnati will land an instant difference-maker with their fifth overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. The question then becomes, who will they take with their remaining seven selections? Let’s take a look at this Cincinnati Bengals seven-round mock draft to get an idea.
