Scouting Report. WR. Ja'Marr Chase. 3. 59. Pick Analysis. LSU. player

With the pick from the Houston Texans in the Laremy Tunsil trade, the Miami Dolphins can look to add another weapon to an offense that is already looking more dangerous than past seasons. Having already signed Will Fuller this offseason, drafting Ja’Marr Chase would give the Dolphins three solid wide receivers to help with the career progression of Tua Tagovailoa.

It feels like it’s been forever since we saw Chase on the field and that’s because it kind of has been. He didn’t play in 2020, so his last action was 2019, but it was an impressive performance that keeps him in the top three of the 2021 NFL Draft conversation.

With Joe Burrow under center, Chase hauled in 20 touchdowns for the Tigers along with 1,780 receiving yards. Putting that on the field with Fuller, DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki is an exciting thought. Parker and Gesicki started to come into their own and now Tagovailoa will have a full offseason to prep, learn and create chemistry.

Like the two teams selecting before them in the draft, the Miami Dolphins also have another pick in the draft with their own pick being the 18th selection. A young roster and lots of draft capital for a team that showed a lot of improvement in 2020 should give Dolphins’ fans a lot to look forward to in the very near future.
