NFL Mock Draft 2021: 2 rounds post-free agency first wave
2021 NFL Mock Draft: 27th pick
Baltimore Ravens key additions so far
- OG Kevin Zeitler
- TE Josh Oliver
The Ravens made a pretty sneaky trade for tight end Josh Oliver who was a very intriguing prospect coming out before injuries derailed his first couple of seasons in the league.
They also got offensive guard Kevin Zeitler to come in and potentially solidify the interior offensive line at a reasonable rate.
As is typically the case, the Ravens have said goodbye to some key players in the 2021 offseason including top pass rusher Matt Judon, who signed with the New England Patriots.
With the decreased cap, it’s been tough for a lot of teams to keep everyone.
Offensively, the Ravens need to look into upgrades at the wide receiver position. Although this is a run-first team, they have been exceptional in the passing game when it comes to efficiency. Lamar Jackson was 32nd in the NFL in pass attempts in his MVP 2019 campaign, yet somehow found a way to lead the league in touchdown passes.
That high TD rate continued into 2020, though not quite at the same level.
Although Hollywood Brown and Devin Duvernay already give this team so much speed at receiver, Kadarius Toney is a player that could really cause problems for opposing defenses when he’s on the field with those guys or anyone else in the Ravens’ offensive personnel.
Toney is such a dynamic weapon after the catch and he could be used out of the backfield or however the Ravens could find creative ways to get him the ball.
