Although the Broncos have added Ronald Darby at the cornerback position and they plan to add at least one more free agent there, they could still look to the deep crop of players in the 2021 NFL Draft for more depth there after what happened injury-wise to their unit last season.

Eric Stokes has blazing speed, tremendous length, and he showed off ball skills this past season that could make him easily a top-50 selection.

In this simulation, he fell to pick no. 71 overall and as unlikely as that seems, you never know what could happen in the NFL Draft.

In any event, the Broncos should be prepared to strike if Stokes is on the board there. As an outside cornerback in Vic Fangio’s scheme, Stokes has the ability to hang in man coverage and both the speed and quickness to break on the ball when he’s tasked with playing off or zone coverage.

In the third round, this would be a huge value for the Broncos.
