Las Vegas Raiders 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 179th overall

Stanford. Davis Mills. 6. player. 871. Scouting Report. QB. Pick Analysis

I highly doubt that the Las Vegas Raiders will make a major move at the quarterback position this offseason. Derek Carr is far from a perfect quarterback, but unless the Raiders are willing to spend significant resources to make a massive move, it is difficult to see them actually improving their quarterback situation. That being said, they should certainly be looking for late-round value at the position in the 2021 NFL Draft.

In the sixth round of this NFL mock draft, the Raiders find that late-round value in the form of Davis Mills out of Stanford. Mills is a former top recruit who did not see the field much throughout his college career. That being said, when Mills did play, it was easy to see his upside under center.

Mills is a traditional pocket passer who sees the field well, shows good accuracy in the short-to-intermediate-range and puts plenty of zip on his passes. He has a big arm and also throws the deep ball with impressive touch and anticipation. Mills is far from a perfect prospect, but he has some upside at the next level and could be the rare late-round quarterback worth developing.

EDGE. Baylor. William Bradley-King. player. 860. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 7

The Raiders go back to the defensive line with their final pick of this mock draft, adding Baylor edge defender Williams Bradley-King to the mix. Bradley-King is a long and relatively athletic edge rusher who undoubtedly has some pass-rush upside at the next level.

The Baylor product shows an explosive first step, dips around the edge well and closes on the quarterback quickly. He also displays impressive hand usage as a pass rusher and could quickly grow into an impact player on obvious passing downs for Las Vegas.
