Buffalo Bills mock draft: Round 6, 214th overall

Scouting Report. Buffalo. 16. player. Pick Analysis. RB. Jaret Patterson. 6

A lot of experts have the Buffalo Bills taking a running back early in the draft. However, it is unlikely the team will choose to take a running back so high. Instead, look for them to support the running game by adding offensive linemen and tight ends early in the draft.

A running back the Buffalo Bills may look at late in the draft though is Jaret Patterson of Buffalo, who the team has already had contact with. All Paterson has done during his college career is rush for over 1,000 yards each of the past three seasons. This includes him rushing for 1,072 yards and 19 touchdowns in just 6 games this season. He would be the type of back the team could bring in late to compete for playing time with Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.

Zach Davidson. Scouting Report. TE. Central Missouri. 7. player. 16. Pick Analysis

Earlier in this mock draft, the Buffalo Bills made a major investment at the tight end position, adding Pat Freiermuth to the roster with a second-round selection. The team goes back to this position in the seventh round to add a developmental prospect in Division II standout Zach Davidson.

While not many players from Division II are attracting major NFL attention, his combination of impressive size (6-foot-7) and athletic ability could make him an exciting seventh-round pick.
