2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 24th overall

Pick Analysis. OT. Oklahoma State. player. Scouting Report. Teven Jenkins. 24. 55

Offensive tackle stands out as a major short and long-term need for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This offensive tackle class is loaded with exciting talent and many viable first-round prospects. Even picking at No. 24, the Steelers will likely be able to find an offensive tackle worth taking in the first round.

In this NFL mock draft, they select Teven Jenkins, a talented offensive tackle prospect out of Oklahoma State. Jenkins is a solid athlete who has good arm length for the offensive tackle position. He is also a powerful offensive lineman who strikes his hands out quickly and accurately in both pass protection and as a run blocker. Make no mistake about it, Jenkins is a quality offensive tackle prospect who would likely grow into a strong long-term play in Pittsburgh.

25. 52. Pick Analysis. WR. Minnesota. Rashod Bateman. player. Scouting Report

The Jacksonville Jaguars certainly have needs that must be addressed this offseason. Offensive line, cornerback and tight end are all positions of need for Jacksonville, but they are also loaded with cap space this offseason and could look more at long-term needs in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Rashod Bateman being available here at No. 25 feels like a great opportunity for the Jaguars. They are going to want to surround Trevor Lawrence with as much talent as possible and taking a young outside playmaker like Bateman to grow alongside him makes a ton of sense.

Bateman is a strong and talented wide receiver prospect who separates well from man coverage and impresses in contested-catch situations when necessary. He is also a strong run-after-catch weapon who can impact the passing game in a variety of ways. Placing Bateman on the outside opposing of D.J. Chark with Laviska Shenault making plays out of the slot would give the Jags an exciting young wide receiver group that could immediately help their young quarterback.
