Carolina Panthers find new franchise QB in 7-round 2021 NFL mock draft
Carolina Panthers 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 5, 185th overall
Cornerback stands out as a major position of need for the Carolina Panthers, a need that they would ideally be able to address prior to this pick. That being said, the trade up for Zach Wilson earlier in this 2021 NFL mock draft limits the opportunities for Carolina to snag a cornerback. They do find an opportunity to address their cornerback situation late in the fifth round, adding Thomas Graham Jr. to the mix.
Graham is not the biggest or most explosive cornerback prospect around, but he is a quick and smooth athlete who changes directions well and attacks the ball in the air extremely well. Simply put, Graham is a talented cornerback prospect who could quickly grow into an impact player at the next level.

Grant Stuard is an incredibly fun linebacker prospect to watch who will undoubtedly be able to come in and make an impact at the next level. Stuard displays elite competitive toughness at all times, consistently flying around the field and making plays on the ball.
Stuard is not the most impressive athlete but he is quick in short spaces and extremely physical at all times. He is a fantastic special teams player who also has a chance to grow into an impressive part-time defensive player at the off-ball linebacker position.
Carolina Panthers 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 223rd overall
With their final pick of this mock draft, the Panthers take another flyer at the cornerback position. Olaijah Griffin is a former five-star prospect who shows impressive speed, quickness and length on the outside.
Griffin also displays strong ball skills at all times and shows impact playmaking ability in both man and zone coverage. Griffin’s slight frame may get him in trouble at times at the next level, but he is undoubtedly a talented player who could grow into an impact player at an important position of need for the Panthers.
