The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a fun offseason ahead after their victory in Super Bowl 55.

This team has a plethora of big-name free agents and areas to address, but with Tom Brady on board for at least one more season, you have to think this crew is poised to try to get as many pieces back together to run things back in 2021.

Although many teams struggled with consistency if they were transitioning offensive schemes, quarterbacks, head coaches, or any combination of those things in 2020, the Buccaneers’ talent was able to outweigh the offensive miscues and inconsistency.

It’s scary to think of how good this team can be with their talent on offense and defense if they can have what very few NFL teams have these days: Continuity.

With that being said, if the Bucs have any semblance of continuity in the 2021 season, they are going to be even more dangerous by adding pieces through the 2021 NFL Draft.

Now with the last pick in every round, let’s try to predict what this team might to do increase its chances of repeating in 2021 as Super Bowl champions.

Buccaneers 2021 mock draft: First pick

Shaquil Barrett is slated for free agency and while the hope has to be that he doesn’t go anywhere, the Buccaneers could add some youth and juice off the edge for Todd Bowles.

Both Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul are playing at a high level still, and veteran William Gholston actually led the team with 20 quarterback hits.

Azeez Ojulari could be a really intriguing option for the Bucs if he is still available at the back end of the first round. He was absolutely dominant in Georgia’s bowl game against Cincinnati with three sacks and a pair of forced fumbles.

Although he doesn’t have ideal size (6-foot-3, 240 pounds) Ojulari has a tremendous combination of speed and power, and he might be the most natural edge-bender in this draft class.

Added to the mix of talent the Bucs already have on their defensive front, Ojulari could be a valuable piece as a rookie and for the future of this unit.
