2021 NFL Draft: Round 5, 162nd overall

Pick Analysis. Ole Miss. Kenny Yeboah. player. 841. Scouting Report. TE. 5

Tight end Logan Thomas has grown into an impact player for the Washington Football Team but they could certainly still use some depth at the position. Kenny Yeboah stands out as a nice value add in this range, showing fantastic receiving upside from the tight end position. Yeboah is a strong route runner who creates separation against man coverage well. He also has strong hands and is a solid overall run blocker.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 7, 241st overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 7. player. 58. DL. Coastal Carolina. Tarron Jackson

Washington is absolutely loaded with talent across the defensive line and would be perfectly fine to move forward with the exact same group next season. That being said, Tarron Jackson is simply too talented to ignore in this range.

Jackson is a thick and powerful defensive lineman who fires off of the ball quickly, shows strong hands and is always playing with a high motor. He primarily played on the edge in college and could have the mobility to stick there at the next level. That being said, I like the idea of Jackson kicking inside and rushing the passer with a strong combination of quickness and power on obvious passing downs.

Simply put, Jackson is a strong, dependable and high-motor defensive lineman who could quickly become an impact player for Washington as a situational player.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 7, 243rd overall

811. Scouting Report. RB. Chris Evans. player. Pick Analysis. Michigan. 7

With the final pick of this mock draft, the Washington Football Team adds Michigan running back Chris Evans to the mix. Evans missed the entire 2019 season due to an academic suspension and only carried the ball 16 times for Michigan this past season. However, he showed off his playmaking ability at the Senior Bowl recently and should be considered a fantastic late-round target for every team.

Evans is a relatively big back (5-foot-11, 219 pounds) who runs hard, is always falling forward and shows impressive contact balance. Evans also shows impressive short-area quickness for a bigger back, cutting on a dime and leaving would-be tacklers in his dust many times. He is an obvious impact player in the run game who also displays soft hands and can create a bit after the catch.

Washington got an impressive performance out of rookie running back Antonio Gibson this past season and he should be fully expected to be the starting running back going forward. That being said, they still need running back depth and Evans is a high ceiling player who could be a massive steal in this range.
